This is the first book in the series of Mira and the Lonely, who we learn is a vampire named Lucien. People always ask me, where did you get the idea for the book? The book tells the story of a lonely little girl who lives in a very large house with people she actually knows little about. I believe that every book I write is a little about me, but not really, or about someone I know or have met or been inspired by, so I guess you can say that I wrote the book because it reminds me of lives that have intertwined with mine in some way. Loneliness is the theme in this book, and it is found in several of the characters and develops more in book 2 as you learn the truth about all the people in Mira’s life.
As to why do I write about vampires and paranormals? Because to me they are very real, and no one I have ever met was or is who they represent themselves to be. So who can say that what lies underneath can’t be anything, any kind of creature. I also believe there is a very dark side to love. Sullivan Dark
